ABOUT
ABOUT ME

I'm a girl of Indian descent, I was born in the city of Chennai, India. I was also raised in Moscow, Russia. So yes, I can speak to you in Russian.

I love product design for the endless possibilities it helps me associate myself with. Today I could be welding aluminium to make a beautiful lantern, but tomorrow I could be fixing the old broken coffee table. I'm in Milwaukee to become an Industrial (Product) designer. I am fascinated by simple solutions, smart + clean design and the biggest realisation that hits me everyday: designing meaningful things for people.

If something I did today made you smile, my job is half done.

WHAT I'VE DONE

EXPERIENCE: So far, I've had the joy of travelling a lot. I've been to Cypress, Dubai, Singapore, Kenya and Egypt.

DESIGN: I did my 1st year as a design student at Srishti School of Art Design and Technology. I moved accross continents to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design because I wanted to explore my interests in all realms of Product Design.

It's really hard to describe what I do. Please click on my work to know more about my thinking, process and body of interests within design.

One thing I say is:

I don't always know the answer, but I'll figure it out.

WHAT I'M DOING

I'm always searching.

For inspiration, for ideas, for opportunities, for collaborations, for news, for trends, for solutions.

I am in my final year as a design student but my learning has just begun. Current projects I'm working on include: Innovative product solutions to washing and take care of bras, stepstools for better use of vertical space distribution and an educational robot for children in schools.

The reason I enjoy what I do is because I can never get bored. My breaks include oil painting, writing and trying new recipes to stay fit and healthy.
